One week. One guide. No more sounding like everyone else.
The Unearthed Voice Method is a focused intensive that excavates your real brand voice and documents it clearly enough to survive your team, your freelancers, and whatever AI tool you're using at 11 pm before a launch.
Get Started with Your VIP Week
Nobody warns you that growing your business would come with a brand identity crisis.
One day you have a voice. Then you hire a few people, bring in some contractors, start using the AI tools everyone says you should be using—and somewhere in there, the copy starts sounding like the wellness industry version of hold music. Not all at once. Gradually, then suddenly.
The frustrating part is that everyone can feel it. Your team rewrites the caption. You rewrite the rewrite. Someone suggests a new tagline. You try a different freelancer. You add more detail to the brief. The copy gets better and somehow also more generic, and the fix is always temporary because you're patching the symptom instead of solving the problem.
The problem is that your voice was never written down anywhere specific enough to be helpful. "Warm but not fluffy" is not enough. "You'll know it when you see it" is not a brief. And a two-page brand doc from 2022 that nobody can find is not a foundation.
That's what the VIP Week builds.
What you'll walk away with
A Brand Voice and Messaging Guide. In PDF. Yours to keep, share, and actually use.
Not a mood board. Not a list of adjectives. Not "warm but professional" typed into a Google Doc and never opened again.
A real, working document—seven modules that cover everything from the philosophical center of your brand to exactly how to prompt an AI tool without getting copy that uses "harness," "unlock," and "journey" in the same paragraph.
Here's what's inside:
Voice Foundation
The emotional core of your brand—your mission, your core promise, the deeper why behind the work. The section you return to when your copy is technically correct and somehow completely lifeless.
Audience Translation
Your people, in real human terms. What they're seeking, where they're stuck, and what they need from you specifically—so you're always writing to someone, not at everyone.
Positioning & Point of View
What makes your brand distinct, why people choose you, and the misconceptions your brand quietly corrects. If your messaging could belong to anyone in your category, this is the section that fixes it.
Archetype Lens
The motivational energy that shapes your tone—how confident, measured, warm, or direct to sound, and why. Includes a shadow section for what happens when the archetype gets overused. (More useful than it sounds. Less woo than it sounds.)
Consistency Engine
Your brand pillars, core messages, and proof points—the building blocks your team pulls from instead of starting from scratch every launch.
Voice Guardrails
How your brand actually sounds on the page. Voice qualities, tone by context, sentence rhythm, and the specific language swaps that separate your copy from the rest of the wellness internet.
AI Alignment
How to use this guide with AI tools so the output sounds like you—not a generic approximation of your industry. Includes default behaviors, priority order, and the human judgment calls AI should never be responsible for. Because left unconstrained, AI defaults to sounding impressive, enthusiastic, and generic. That’s not a content strategy.
How it works
Five days. A clear process, a real deadline, and something to show for it.
Prep: The Questionnaire
Before we get on a call, you'll complete a detailed brand questionnaire designed to get everything out of your head and onto a page. The more you put in, the better the output. Think of it as the part where you finally say everything you've been trying to explain to other people for years.
Day 1: The Kickoff Call (1 hour)
We get on a call to go deeper on anything the questionnaire raised, fill in the gaps, and make sure I have everything I need. You can ask questions. I'll ask more. Then I disappear and build the thing.
Days 2–3 — The Excavation and Build
I spend two focused days going through everything—your questionnaire, your existing copy, your customer language —and building your Brand Voice and Messaging Guide from the ground up.
Day 4 — The Draft
Your guide lands in your inbox as a PDF draft. You read it, leave comments anywhere something doesn't feel quite right, and send it back. One round of revisions—which is enough because we did the hard thinking upfront.
Day 5 — The Offboarding Call (30 minutes)
A short call to walk through your final guide together, answer any last questions, and make sure you know exactly how to use what we just built. Then it's yours. Go forth. Sound like yourself.
Investment: $4,995
Is this for you?
The VIP Week is built for wellness brands that are growing faster than their messaging can keep up.
This is for you if...
  • You have a team, contractors, or AI tools touching your copy—and the inconsistency is starting to show.
  • You've tried to fix this yourself (the brand doc, the style guide, the very detailed Slack message to your content person) and it hasn't stuck.
  • You're spending time rewriting other people's work back into your voice instead of running your business.
  • You know your brand has a strong point of view—you just can't always get it onto the page.
This is not for you if...
  • You’re brand new and still validating your offer.
  • You want endless revision rounds and exploratory brainstorming.
  • You’re not ready to make hard decisions about what your brand does and doesn’t stand for.
  • You’re looking for a quick homepage rewrite without deeper positioning work.
  • You want someone to “just make it sound better” without defining what better means.
About the method
Why Unearthed?
Because your brand voice isn't missing. It's buried.
It's in the way you talk about your product when you're not reading from a script. It's in your best-performing emails—the ones you wrote fast, without overthinking. It's in your customer reviews, in the words they use to describe what you do for them.
The Unearthed Voice Method is a process for finding all of that, pulling it into one place, and turning it into a document specific enough to actually be useful. Not a list of vibes. A real foundation.
Deep Dive, Not Surface Skim
We excavate your brand's core purpose, values, and unique perspective, moving beyond generic adjectives to capture its authentic voice.
Built for Action
This isn't a theoretical exercise. You'll receive a practical, modular guide with clear instructions and examples, ready to be used by humans and AI alike.
Clarity Through Focus
The VIP Week is a concentrated effort, designed to achieve significant results rapidly by dedicating undivided attention to your brand's messaging.
About Me
Hi, I'm Jenny—and I've spent over a decade watching good brands lose their voice at exactly the moment they could least afford to.
The pattern is always the same. A brand builds something real. It grows. More people get involved. More tools get introduced. And slowly, the copy that used to sound like a person starts to sound like a committee.
I started the Unearthed Voice Method because I kept seeing the same problem and kept seeing brands try to solve it by rewriting the homepage again. That's not the fix. The fix is a foundation—something documented, specific, and durable enough to survive whatever comes next.
My style is calm, direct, and quietly opinionated. I ask a lot of questions. I listen for the answers underneath the answers. And I write it all down somewhere it can actually be used.
Frequently Asked Questions
Got questions? Good. Here are the ones I hear most often.
One week feels fast. Is that actually enough time?
It is—because the work is front-loaded. The questionnaire and kickoff call are designed to surface everything I need before I start building. By the time I sit down to write your guide, I'm not starting from scratch. I'm synthesizing. Two focused days of building is enough when the excavation is done right.
I've tried to create a brand voice guide before and nobody used it. Why is this different?
That's the most common thing I hear—and it's almost always a specificity problem. Generic brand voice guides don't get used because they're not specific enough to be useful. "Warm but professional" doesn't help a freelancer write your email sequence. Real examples, real vocabulary, real messaging pillars. That's what this guide is built to be.
What do I need to prepare before the VIP Week?
Mostly just yourself and an hour or two of uninterrupted time to fill out the brand questionnaire. Pull together a few examples of copy you love—stuff you wrote on a good day, a customer review that nailed it, an email that got replies. Don't overthink it. The questionnaire is designed to surface what you already know. You just haven't been asked the right questions yet.
Is this a copywriting service?
No. If you want someone to rewrite your homepage and move on, this isn’t that. This builds the foundation that makes every future rewrite faster, clearer, and more aligned. You can hire copywriters anytime. You shouldn’t have to re-explain your brand every time you do.
You can keep rewriting. Or you can fix the foundation.
Your homepage won’t magically start sounding like you again. The debates about your tagline won’t magically resolve. And AI won’t invent a point of view for you. Take a week and define it—clearly, specifically, and in writing.
